One of the best things about staying at Villa Okeanos is the location! We are just minutes from an amazing collection of beachfront restaurants, casual beach bars, live music, great cocktails and local favorites. Many are only a short drive away, and several are right along Shoal Bay East.

Our favorite:

  • Olas – A favorite for tacos, fresh hand-juiced cocktails and a beautiful sunset view.
  • Elodias – Perfect for lunch and a piña colada on the beach. Try the mahi salad!
  • Tropical Sunset – Great ceviche and breakfast, plus some of the nicest beach chairs on Shoal Bay.
  • Gwen’s Reggae Grill – Come for lobster, reggae and dancing with the Scratch Band. Sundays and Thursdays are especially fun.
  • Hank’s – A great casual breakfast stop. We love the egg and veggie omelet.
  • Bohio Lounge – Sushi, wine and live jazz from 12th Avenue on Thursday nights. Try the Bergamot Sour!
  • 20 Knots – A beautiful beachfront choice for lunch or dinner.
  • Serenity Restaurant – Breakfast with one of the best views overlooking Upper Shoal Bay.
  • Manoah – Stop in for an espresso martini and catch local favorite Omari Banks when he is performing.
  • L’Étoile – French cuisine in a beautiful beachfront setting.
  • The Vibe @ Uncle Ernie’s – A Shoal Bay institution and a fun place to grab a cocktail and enjoy the beach vibe.

  • Falcon’s Nest – A casual island favorite right on the water known for its lobster and carrot coleslaw.
  • Lime Keel House – Don't miss the fish and chips and save room for the chocolate cake.
  • Nat's Palm Grove - Inciredble for lunch. Get a grilled snapper or the crayfish. Go for a swim at Junk's Hole.

Anguilla is known for its warm, sunny Caribbean climate, but brief tropical rain showers can occur throughout the year. Many showers are welcomed, short-lived and followed quickly by sunshine, so a chance of rain in the forecast doesn’t necessarily mean a rainy vacation. Anguilla’s driest months are generally during the winter and spring, while rainfall tends to increase during the late summer and fall.

Yep! We sure do! Villa Okeanos is equipped with a back up Generac generator, providing added peace of mind in the event of an island power outage. If the electrical grid goes down, the villa’s backup systems help keep essential power running so guests can continue to enjoy their stay with minimal disruption.

We feel like we landed the best value on the entire island. A nice resort with basic rooms costs twice as much. Instead, we had an entire villa to ourselves, housekeeping, privacy, and a phenomenal host. Leigh is the best host we've ever had. She felt like our personal travel agent. Leigh was promptly responsive to our questions, and she went out of her way to give us recommendations and to make sure our stay was special. She LOVES Anguilla, and she wants her guests to love it too. The villa itself is very spacious and lovely, and everyone loved the pool. We arrived to snacks and drinks from the store, which was a pleasant surprise, and the housekeeper is very friendly. One of the biggest selling points for us is the location. Shoal Bay East is out of this world, and it is the closest beach to the villa. We had such an amazing trip, and Leigh and Dave's villa was the perfect home base!

It was our first time to Anguilla and it was better than we imagined! Our group stayed at Villa Okeanos in Shoal Bay East and we loved this villa so much from the beachy decor to the privacy to the pool off the living room and the amazing views. Shoal Bay Beach was right down the rock as well as many beach bars and restaurants although we did cooking at the villa which was super fun and nice because the villa is equipped with every kitchen item you need and a great grill if you love to cook. Villa Okeanos is awesome for a group of people. It had really comfy beds, a great sound system stereo, lots of space, a delightful pool and outdoor dinning area and housekeeping. It's really well taken care of. We've been to other islands but Anguilla and Villa Okeanos really topped it for us and we are already planning to come back in the fall.

WOW, what a beautiful island to visit and to stay in the comfort of Villa Okeanos was the icing on the cake! 4 adults and 5 teenagers felt at home immediately from the moment we met Patrick who helps take care of the villa. The owner Leigh is on point with every recommendation and takes great pride in the property. We absolutely hope to return many times God willing. Be sure to book a ride with Good Living Charters for that extra special occasion. 5 out of 5 stars every time.

Our 7-day stay at Villa Okeanos in Anguilla in February 2026 was absolutely incredible! The villa itself is stunning, with breathtaking views that are even more beautiful in person. Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained, and the housekeeping/service throughout our stay was truly top notch. Leigh and Dave went above and beyond to make our trip exceptional. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were always available with thoughtful recommendations for anything we needed - whether it was the best beaches, hiking spots, restaurants, or local activities. Their guidance helped make our trip seamless and unforgettable. If you're looking for a beautiful villa with amazing hosts who genuinely care about your experience, Villa Okeanos is it. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Anguilla!

Had an incredible time at Villa Okeanos last week! Came with my family of 10 and it was the perfect villa for our group with everything needed and more. The owner/host Leigh went above and beyond to make sure our stay and vacation was perfect. I've been telling all my friends about this villa and if you are considering renting it, you will be really pleased. It gets my vote!

Our family had the most amazing stay at Villa Okeanos! The villa is so beautiful and was perfect for our large family. Leigh is incredibly kind and went above and beyond for us. She checked in frequently and gave us many great recommendations. The villa is in a perfect location—secluded, yet with quick and easy access to everything you need. We had an amazing experience from start to finish and couldn't recommend staying here more!

Leigh and Dave first fell in love with Anguilla in 2013, when Dave won a sales incentive trip to the island. Fast-forward to today, and they now share Villa Okeanos with guests from around the world. From your first inquiry through checkout, you’ll deal directly with them—no management company, booking intermediary or online travel agency. They know Anguilla well and are always happy to share their local knowledge, helping with everything from private chef recommendations and car rental companies to favorite restaurants, beaches, island activities, and other tips to help you make the most of your stay. When they’re not in Anguilla, Leigh and Dave dedicate much of their time volunteering with  Fly To Freedom Dog Rescue, the nonprofit they founded to rescue homeless dogs from Anguilla and bringing them to the United States to find loving forever homes. Their passion for dog rescue extends to their own family as well by sharing their U.S. home with six dogs, five of whom are Anguillian rescue dogs.
